1. Consult

The initial part of the process is where we get to know more about you and the space. We’ll discuss your needs and goals, as well your ideas for the space. We’ll delve into everything from how you plan to use your garden and what your vision looks like, to the finer details like materials and plant selections.

At Adam Hompas Landscapes, it’s not just about finding quick and easy solutions. Rather, it’s about using our extensive knowledge and expertise to create garden spaces that not only meet, but exceed our client’s expectations. We take a collaborative approach, guiding our clients every step of the way, ensuring that every inch of the project is thoughtfully considered and skilfully designed. If we think a certain element may not work within the space, we’ll find a better alternative that works for
you.

If you’d like to see a visual representation of your project, our team can provide detailed 3D design sketches that include plant selections, material specifications and ground plans, at an additional fee. If a structure within the space requires engineering or a permit is required, we’ll provide you with technical drawings completed by a qualified draftsman or architect.

2. Cost

Your project costing will clearly state the total amount required to complete your garden space. We provide a highly detailed, tailored costing in order to present the entire cost upfront.

Our project costing timeframe varies depending on the detail and scale of the project, so please be patient. We pride ourselves in taking a transparent approach, so we ensure your project costing is as accurate as possible to avoid any surprises down the track.

3. Plan

On acceptance of our proposal, you’ll be required to sign a contract in order to proceed with your landscaping project.

We’ll provide a comprehensive landscaping plan that incorporates the following elements:

  • Project Timeline
  • Payment Schedule
  • Building and Planning Permits
  • Technical Information
  • Construction Requirements
  • Material Selections and Specifications
  • Irrigation and Drainage System Design
  • Plant Types and Planting Schedule
  • Lighting Design

Prior to construction, we’ll return to site to discuss each project element in detail with you, so the process is fully understood. We’ll discuss everything from the landscaping contract and scheduling for the project, to the permits required and the payment schedule.

Our team will clearly communicate with you throughout the entire project, so you’re consistently kept up to date. Whatever questions you may have, our team are always here to help.

4. Construct

This is always an exciting, yet daunting part of the process. We’ll ensure that you’ve been fully briefed, and you’re aware of exactly what part of construction will take place when, including when specific tradesmen and equipment will be on site.

We’ll keep you updated as construction progresses, clearly communicating at each stage. Adam Hompas will oversee the entire project, so you have peace of mind knowing a landscaping expert is managing every aspect.

Adam Hompas Landscapes are registered landscape builders; therefore, all site work on your bayside property will be completed under a minor works domestic building contract.
