At Adam Hompas Landscapes, each garden design is bespoke and customised exactly to our clients’ needs. For 15+ years we’ve been helping clients conceptualise their garden ideas, creating designs that enhance both the aesthetics and function of the space.

If you’d like to see a visual representation of your project, our team can provide detailed 3D design sketches that include plant selections, material specifications and ground plans. If a structure within the space requires engineering or obtaining a permit, we’ll provide you with technical drawings
completed by a qualified draftsman or architect.

Hard Landscape Construction

With most hard landscape construction, there’s usually a great deal of preparation (below ground) work that needs to be done prior to the commencement of construction. This requires rigorous planning, and can require testing of soil, stability, structural integrity, and foundations. Therefore, engaging a landscape professional that’s registered with the Victorian Building Authority is crucially important to the safety and success of your landscaping project.

Horticultural Services

The Adam Hompas Landscapes team provides professional horticultural services that place plants at the centre of garden design. We have extensive knowledge of both native Australian plants, as well as introduced species.

Selecting plants that enhance a garden’s design takes a certain degree of knowledge and skill. As professional horticulturists, we know exactly which plants will work in a space now, and long into the future. There are many factors that we address at the initial design phase to minimise disruption down the track. We consider things like sunlight, season, soil, the  surrounding environment, the garden design etc., to ensure you get the most from your plants.

We’ll analyse your garden to identify conditions that may hinder plant establishment and development, (like soil properties, water retention etc.) by testing the soil. A simple test can tell us how the soil is reacting to the conditions, and what we need to do to enhance the quality of the soil, so it has the capacity to support the plants and trees in your garden.

Included in the initial landscaping design will be a custom, automated irrigation system. Our professionally installed irrigation systems provide custom watering settings for your garden that can be controlled manually or via smart phone.
